Mood Board Monday…Yes it’s Tuesday, but it’s also summer and all the days tend to blend together. I mean it’s August…really? This week we are designing a classic neutral space. This space will be a gathering place for entertaining and quietly hanging out with family.
It features an oversized taupe Belgian linen slip covered sofa. The sofa is flanked by 2 chairs a shade darker than the sofa and accented with nail head trim. The pine and oak planked cocktail table with iron base has 2 burlap upholstered benches that slide underneath. These are perfect to pull up and use for extra seating or to use as ottomans for the chairs. We chose matching pierced wood side tables for either end of the sofa. There is a nickel alloy wrapped buffet with an embossed pattern for a little sparkle in the room. This could be used to anchor a t.v. or be used for serving when entertaining. We kept this room clean, symmetrical and neutral. The color in the room comes from the tribal design rug in light shades of blues, greens and grays. We layered a hide on the rug for a little fun. You could add color to this room in the form of pillows and accessories, but we love it just the way it is. Let us help you freshen up your tired space or design a completely new one.
Until next time,
